There is a possibility to participate on a coming National Meeting related to Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy on Buildings next winter. IDAE ( Spanish Institute for Diversification and Energy savings); DG of Housing, Architecture and Urbanism of the Ministry of Economic Promotion, The Spanish Council of Architects Associations and the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces will re-schedule this National Information Meeting by the end of this year. This event was scheduled on 23 and 24 March 2004, however it was postponed until the end of this year, perhaps for some political, institutional and social reasons. On this meeting there will be an update about Energy Performance Directive in Spanish building legislation.
Besides, The National Association of Architects is preparing a national seminar in Madrid called ARCA, related to Architecture and Quality of Life. This meeting will take place in October this year in Madrid. After knowing about Green catalogue, they suggest me to submit a short presentation on this meeting to spread over the use and potential of Green catalogue as a tool for energy efficiency on building projects.
